Working with UsWhy is it so important to follow these guidelines?Simple. In order for us to meet all deadlines, we need your full cooperation. 10% of projects not completed on time are due to the lack of client cooperation. By providing us with all the materials we need to start and complete your project we strongly advise that you follow the guidelines listed below. This will help the process to be smoother and on time. How to Supply ContentIf you are submitting content for a website or for any print material, we will need your content to be in a word document (.doc). Please submit ALL the content that you will be implementing in the design piece. Do not format the text ( bullets, bolding, indenting etc.) As we will only have to change it back in order for it to be properly formatted again for your design project. Bowl of Ideas is not responsible for misspelled words, grammar error although we do our very best to recheck it. Please make sure that the content you provide us is not copied from another source - you will be held responsible and accountable. How to Supply ImagesIf you are submitting images for a print project, please submit them in a .jpg format, the resolution must be at 300dpi. If you are submitting images for a web project, please submit them in a .jpg format, the resolution must be at 72dpi. We do accept hard copy images to scan but we don't recommend it if you are using it for print, as the quality may be different from the original. Any images that you provide us, you must own the rights to - otherwise you can be held accountable. We also provide a wide array of stock images that you can purchase from us. Just ask! How to Supply Your Logo FilesIf you have your business logo that you would like to use on your projects. We prefer it to be a vector format (.ai, .eps). We do accept .psd and .jpg only if they are at 300dpi. If you do not have a logo for your business and is interested in having one, we can design it for you at an affordable price. Just ask! Quoting a ProjectAlthough our prices can be affordable, not every project is estimated the same. Why you ask? well simply because projects are based on the amount of work involved, the size of the company and the time frame it takes to complete a project. Some projects are based hourly, others are fixed prices and others depend on company budget. At Bowl of Ideas please be assure that we will try our very best to accommodate your time and budget realistically. The 3 Phase Design ProcedureThe very first thing we do before going to the drawing board is to gather as much detail as possible. We will communicate via phone or by email and discuss your business goal. This may take several conversations. After we have a good feel of what your direction is, we will send you a quote of what the project will involve regarding time and budget. After the proposal is approved we will require the first payment to begin project and balance after completions(please read "How to Submit Payment"). Phase I "The Conception" In phase I we put on our thinking caps.
Phase II "The Labor" In phase II we give our sweat and strength.
Phase III "The Completion" In phase III we cut the big red ribbon. yay!
How to Submit PaymentAs happy we are to get started on your project, We are even happier when we receive payment. Truthfully... we prioritize our work load and deadlines and submitting your payment will assure you that your project has been prioritized and ready to be worked on. When you receive a quote from us and have approved the proposal, we require 50% upon signing the contract or upon approving via email. All payments are currently submitted by check along with the signed contract. We cannot start the project unless we receive the contract signed. Once payment is received we will then start working on your project. Some exceptions can be made. Once the project is completed you will receive the invoice with the remaining balance due. If this is a web design project, we will upload your completed site on our site as a temporary link so that you can view your site and approve it before we launch. We require the remaining balance within 10 days from the completed project date in order for your website to be launched. If this is a print project we require the remaining balance before your item is shipped, If you are local and we deliver it personally to you at no extra charge, then the remaining balance is due upon our arrival.
